Spring Lake
New House

A tired 1960s bungalow in Stanmore was transformed by converting the loft space and generally reinventing the layout. Working with the existing structure the principle internal spaces are linked together to create a sequence of modern internal Living spaces with a strong visual relationship with the garden. A raised timber deck with a veranda and stepped timber terrace offer a transition to the garden which is a full storey below the main Living area. Timber shingles are used as a finish to the undulating and sweeping roof forms.
